Culture-shaping Firm Senn Delaney to Participate in 2012 Human ...

(PRWEB) February 09, 2012

Why Corporate Culture Matters is the focus of the 2012 Human Resource Roundtable for senior HR executives March 14, 2012 at the Harvard Club in New York City. This annual peer learning event and panel discussion is sponsored by HRD Consultants, Mulllin & Associates Ltd. and Senn Delaney, the recognized leading international authority and successful practitioner of organizational culture shaping to improve organizational spirit and performance.

The roundtable event takes place Wednesday, March 14 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at The Harvard Club, 27 West 44th Street, New York, NY.

2012 Human Resource Roundtable panelists include several prominent company leaders:

Craig Ivey, President and COO, Consolidated Edison Company of New York Inc.

Deb Zastocki, CEO, Chilton Hospital

Andy Kaslow, Ph.D, President, Quantom Leap

Jamie Lane, Vice President, Talent & Organization Development, Hess Corporation

Jim Minogue, Chief Human Resource Officer, Gleacher & Company

Participants will hear the panelists discuss challenges and best practices as well as the positive impact of shaping their corporate cultures. Topics that will be explored include: Why does culture matter to businesses today? How do you shape a culture? How can you measure a culture to understand what it is and how it might need to be shifted? What is the role of purpose in shaping culture?

Senn Delaney Partner and Executive Vice President Mike Marino, who will moderate the panel discussion, notes that culture should be treated as an important strategy, led by the CEO in partnership with the senior team and top human resources leaders, and not as a leadership training or organizational development initiative.

Senn Delaney is thrilled to be a part of this event because the topic is so relevant to executive HR leaders. It?s a great opportunity for HR leaders to learn the latest thinking and best practices from the field, said Marino notes that today?s HR leaders must understand how to lead culture change and actively partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to transform the culture to improve spirit and performance: Creating and sustaining a thriving organizational culture is not only is a key driver of financial performance, it is also one of the best ways to attract and retain and talent and measurably increase employee engagement.

Participants will take away trend data and practical information they can use to better manage their organization, their team and their career.

The Human Resources Roundtable was started in 1995 as a way for senior human resource executives to gather in an intimate setting to discuss and share ideas on current human resource practices and thinking. One of the benefits is that it marries the sharing of best practices with a unique opportunity for executive-level, peer-to peer networking.

The event is open to media coverage. To attend the roundtable, please contact:
